Review Hamilton Beach 62695V Power Deluxe Hand Mixer, This is the one to buy!

A week ago. I'm looking for information on the Hamilton Beach 62695V Power Deluxe Hand Mixer, so i have to tell.

This is an addendum to my previous review on this product, which is now "rest in peace" (more precisely,). I burned out the other night while making a batch of oatmeal chocolate chip cookies (dough for these is heavier than the tollhouse recipe that I tried in my first review). a puff of white smoke was my only warning. --actually, it wasn't really a warning, but the signal that my mixer would stir no more. I opened the unit to see if a fuse had protected the engine. Alas, there was no such thing, only light wires and springs popped. the engine died, and the engine is the heart of the mixer. still, I want to let my 4 star rating stand, with the warning that this mixer is really meant for lighter-duty use. It still represents a good value. just be aware that if you are doing things like heavy dough mixing, would be so much better with a little stand mixer.
