Review Breville, Best purchase for my kitchen I ever made! Multiple uses, easy to...

A couple of days ago. I'm looking for information on the Breville BSB510XL Control Grip Immersion Blender, so i would like to describe here.

This immersion Blender is expensive. works extremely well. also is high and therefore requires some thought about where to store it. the Blender blade and shaft are too wide to fit in a wide-mouth quart jar that require me to figure out a new way to merge my morning hot chocolate (I use the wide-mouth quart jar but now use wire whip to blend it.) Wire whip works well but has a connecting piece that goes from the handle (the power unit) and whip making whip assembled very high. the whip is dishwasher safe, but not the connecting piece. The beaters go into a wide-mouth quart jar. the Blender jar included works well with its built-in blade. great for mixing cooked vegetables. overall works extremely well; I'm disappointed in the height and girth with the adjoining mixing unit. It's a great Blender. one needs adequate space to store food and a bit of patience to assemble and disassemble the unit before and after use. the Blender jar is also included and an included "jug" for mixing drinks are not microwave safe. This is not stated anywhere in their literature. I called the company before mine put in the microwave, so no harm was done. 3/14/12: I had this mixer for about 2 months now. I moved up to 4 star hotel. If I could give 4.5 I would. not a 5 because of the expense. This is the first Blender I had that really feels up to any kind of activity I have for it. parts of it were however the DW-er on a daily basis. I put all plastic items in top rack, but run the DW-er its heated water cycle that takes the water to 140 of. no problem with DW-er even at higher temperatures, when the parties are in the upper basket.
