KitchenAid KHB2561CU 5-Speed Hand Blender - Contour, Great for making smoothies in my opinion

The week ago. I search for information on the KitchenAid KHB2561CU 5-Speed Hand Blender - Contour Silver, so i would like to describe here.

I bought this after reading the reviews, which-as most of the reviews ... --are mixed. Maybe some people have received defective blenders, maybe some people do not like to read instructions and do not umderstand how to properly use the Blender, but I agree with most users: this is a tool well done, well designed, multi-purpose. I use it daily to make smoothies, incorporating the partially frozen bananas, and it does a much better job of loud, hard to stand blender Cuisinart clean that I had used. blender always left chunks of bananas in the drink, no matter what I tried. and the rest of the "smoothie" was nothing like the creamy result I get with the KitchenAid (that said, I had to experiment to find the best and easiest way to add and process the ingredients, which was to add the pieces of half-frozen banana on top of the other ingredients). I also tried the chopper accessory for chopping a dozen garlic cloves (not enough for our food processors and large sized), and to my surprise did a great job, chopping them evenly and slowly enough so I could easily control the size of the blocks (something harder to do with a food processor). This would be a good gift, or a good buy for those who don't have a full range of kitchen gadgets. We do, but I keep thinking that I'm going to this first for many things on a small scale.
